Support for those affected and their relatives
We represent people with sepsis, their relatives and survivors.
This is why we set up the group for those affected and their relatives to ensure that personal experiences are heard and incorporated into national awareness and quality work.
We also network with European and international sepsis initiatives in order to share knowledge, strengthen structures and make the voices of those affected heard across borders.
We also provide an overview of regional self-help groups to facilitate exchange with other affected people and access to local services.
Group for those affected and their families
We have set up a sepsis patient and family group to give a stronger voice to those affected by sepsis. Our first meeting took place in April 2025. Sharing experiences and raising awareness are at the heart of this initiative.
Sepsis support groups
Sepsis support groups provide a space for survivors and families to share experiences, ask questions and find support during recovery.
They provide practical information, emotional support and help to put people affected by sepsis in touch with others in a similar situation.
Below you will find an overview of three existing self-help groups. If you are involved in another initiative or would like to set one up, you are welcome to contact us.
