The World Sepsis Congress took place for the fifth time in April. Nora Lüthi, the manager of the Swiss Sepsis Program, was also invited. Together with representatives from Brazil, Australia, the UK, Ireland, and Thailand, she spoke on a panel about “Experiences from Pioneering Countries.” She reported on the goals achieved so far and the challenges faced in the Swiss context, which is federalist and multilingual. It became clear that country-specific solutions are needed for similar problems.
